The “Dance Week²” is organized by the Cultural Non Profit Urban Company MΟ.vement RΕ.costruction.

The company has as it aims:

a) To make dance known, to advance it and elevate it.

b) The training of those interested in the art of dancing and other arts related of it.

c) The research, thorough study and the recording of the art of dancing and other related arts.

d) The promotion of dancing through organized performances, festivities and presentations.

e) The updating and further education of the audience as far as of dancing is concerned.

Having dance as a starting point, the company aims to assist Iraklion to gain a reputation as an artistic meeting point.
